For me, writing it out always helps. Scribbling down my complaints from my head onto paper...if writing is not what I feel like doing, I just let my anger out in a big pen blob on a piece of paper...or a walk for some sunshine...

I walk softly to my kitchen, open a cupboard and slam it till the hinges squeeke!!!!!! Then I Clear the sink, and if there are any unbroken dishes left I put them in the dishwasher. hahahah

I thought this was kinda ridiculous when my friend recommended it but it's worked for me many times. Just write in your journal about the whole thing, I don't know if it's the venting, or actually seeing your feelings taking shape, or just the act of sitting in one place and chilling but it really takes the edge off.
