  • My only attraction to it is the awesome ABers who live there.
  • Kinda gross, and being there makes me sick. Ugly too.
  • Could do alot more about quality of life issues and work on making itself a world class city like New York or Chicago.
  • Never been there, but it seems like the coolest place on earth. How can you not love a city that tells the NFL to keep their franchise - we've got so much else to do you can stick it.
  • I think It's one of the few places where you can find Jose's car dealership (actual name of dealership) "No credit, no problem" two blocks away from a place where you can rent a $50,000 Lamborghini.
  • Been there to visit, would like to live there someday... :)
  • I lived in the area for about 5 years.I thought it was fine for the weather is always great, and I like one season, warm and hot.I worked in the film business and the money was great.Hollywood is a lot more run down and shabby then I imagined.Traffic sucks unless you work odd hours, such as I did.It is more conservative in it's thinking then I prefer, such as San Fransisco.
  • Beautiful city. Where Hollywood is.
  • Los Angeles = Box of Granola cereal from the outside, inviting ,delicious,...however if you look close inside the box,its full of fruits, nuts, and flakes!!!!
  • There is a ton of wackos here, but I like the weather and the hockey team.
  • Being born in San Francisco and raised in northern California my opinion is definitely slanted. So CAL sucks for the most part, their baseball team is disgusting, the traffic is ungodly, the air quality is awful, and too many shallow people seem to live there. Otherwise, it isn't a bd place to visit if you want to see hollywood or Disneyland. San Diego is way better than LA, and they actually have a football team and the ugly nasty DOdgers don't play there. GO GIANTS!
  • That it is the place where the movie stars live.
  • Its the city where fantasies are made to last. We love the city.
  • I like it when I go, but there are some other opinions...
  • It's a much dirtier city in person than I ever imagined. I didn't like it too much.
  • Lots of crime, smog, jaded people and celebrities. I never been there.
  • City of Lost Angels. local
  • The Hollywood sign up on the hill.
  • My friend Zack who died... he was amazing, I loved him so much, he was the only reason I left my abusive ex.. he gave me enough strenght to do so...
  • dodger stadium, phillipe's french dip, chinatown, union station, disneyland, universial studios, knott's berry farm, olvera street, hollywood, pinks hot dogs.
  • "Air that is not transparent."
  • my car..:)
  • I know where it is. I have no idea of its boundaries.
  • That Chinatown has some pretty decent fireworks, in those little back rooms. ;)
  • The city of Hell. Anything goes! Porn capital of the world.
  • I live in Los Angeles, born and raised for the past 19 years. My apartment building caught on fire in the riots and my house cracked in the 94 earthquake. Ive seen the best of Los Angeles and the worst of Los Angeles, from the ghettos to the ultra rich neighborhoods. I made friends with movie stars, athletes , Pro skaters, Crips, Bloods, Punx and Skinheads, Bums, Models. I'll always remember circle pitting at Street Punk gigs in empty parking lots and backyards in South Central and throughout inner L.A. Ill always remember the time Sean Penn came to my house to try to get me to vote for Kerry. Ill always remember the time i ran from L.A.P.D on my skateboard and got away. Ill always remember the time i fucked a girl that came out in the new lil wayne and Drake video.. lol okay im done.. i <3 L.A
  • I lived there from May, 1947 until June, 2008. Sometime in the mid to late 60s it started going downhill, fast. From 1970 until 2008 I even lived in a beach city. That, too, started the inexorable slide. I'm still in CA, but not L.A. and would never consider going back. So the answer to your question is: It used to be a really nice place to live.
  • I think that LA is like the little girl in the nursery rhyme: "when she was good, she was very, very good, but when she was bad she was awful!"
  • that its the land of granola..fruits and nuts..lol
  • I lived in Northridge as a kid, 1966-70, but nowadays the area would be unliveable for me - too big, trafficky, mutant, gangy, shallow, expensive.
  • That I wish people from LA would stop moving here.
  • Okay, I live there because I live with my girlfriend and her parents, doesn't cost me much just a bit of board. I can't be too picky and it's still a lot nicer than Wolverhampton and England, now thats gross haha
  • Well in Science right now we are learning about the Los Angles Basin and how it is affecting everyones health. And since the people of L.A. are contributing to the smog and pollution in the air...I think they are pretty well stupid actually. But just because they are contributing to the Asthma related deaths and other health problems in that area without even knowing it...
  • 3-25-2017 Los Angeles is 126 suburbs in search of a city. I have two stories for you. First story: I was at my brother's place when the phone rang, so I answered it. A little voice said "Can you give me and Mom a ride home?" I said sure, how do I find you. She said "You go out to the stop sign and turn left. Go three blocks, counting streets on the left side. It's four blocks if you count streets on the right side. Turn left and go to a tee intersection. That's a one way street. Turn right and go a long way, no cross streets, until you come to a blue van parked on the left in front of a flower shop. We're in the hair salon before that." THIS IS A FIVE YEAR OLD GIRL TELLING ME THIS. In LA even little kids keep track of where they are and how they got there. Second story: I was hanging out with a buddy when we saw two girls in a sport car. One looked about 18 and the other looked about 20, so we wandered over to chat. It turned out the one we thought was 18 was actually 12, and the one we thought was 20 was her mother.
