• I never used to, but I'm on medication now that I have to eat breakfast. It's really annoying!
  • Always eat breakfast, either bran cereal, fruit or whole grain toast.
  • I usually skip it and if I feel I need sustenance, it usually will be something very light, just enough to keep me going until lunch.
  • I eat breakfast every morning. It usually consists of toast with peanut butter, a banana, and if I have time some scrambled eggs or bacon.
  • I always eat breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day.
  • i do some days and some times i don't If i do it is bran ceral or fruit.
  • It may not be the healthiest thing all the time, but I cannot go very long in the morning without putting something on my stomach. I will feel sick to my stomach and have that acidic feeling if I don't eat something to start my day.
  • That's a light breakfast?? I just have cereal. I may add toast or waffles to the mix once I get my toaster replaced.
  • That's light? I have coffee and air.
  • I skip breakfast. I find that I am not hungry when I wake up, usually for about 2 hours. I might have a drink or something like juice but thats it.
    • BRG
you know, I've read that that's the best thing to do; if you're not hungry don't eat!! just be sure to eat, as you say, 2 - 3 hrs. later.....everyone's different...!!
  • That doesn't sound like a "light" breakfast to me :) I usually have a bowl of oatmeal and some fruit, or some yogurt and fruit, depending on what I have in the house. Your breakfast is like 2 of my breakfasts. I have to remember to hard boil some eggs soon though - I do like having one of those with my fruit for breakfast too.
  • My husband and I have always eaten breakfast. It's kind of a family tradition with us to get up however early to make sure we make breakfast and eat it together. It's a great way nutritionally and emotionally, to start the day:-)
  • I skip that meal.
  • That's a light breakfast? Just the toast would be fine for me, but I can't eat breakfast until I've been up for a couple of hours. For some reason it makes me feel sick to my stomach.
  • You are doing the right thing. I have oatmeal every morning. A good breakfast will help you function better during the most productive part of every work day, the early morning hours.
  • i eat breakfast mostly on weekends but not on days that i go to school i have eggs sausage bacon cheese sometimes plaintain
  • I never have breakfast, even when I rarely do, its just cereal or toast.
  • well, that doesn't sound very "light!" however, I never skip breakfast. I do have to eat very early during the week, and I can't eat really heavy early in the morning, so I usually just have a bowl of cereal and some juice. Sometimes, I have an english muffin or a granola bar. But I have to eat something, or I will be more hungry at lunch and over-eat. Even if it's not a big breakfast, no one should ever skip it.
  • That would be like 2 breakfasts for me. That's 2 servings of carbs (oatmeal AND toast), and the 2 eggs. I don't think I could eat that much, at least not early in the morning. Basically, if I don't have eggs, it's cereal or a bagel (or 1/2 bagel) I ALWAYS have breakfast. I make sure I allow time every morning to sit down and relax over a leisurly breakfast before going to work. I have 2 eggs per week max, maybe Egg Beaters (or other brand) another day or 2. Other days I'll have Oatmeal (original, not flavored envelopes). or another whole grain whole grain cereal usualy with banana or banana & strawberries & cinnemon. Sometimes I add some chopped almonds to my oatmeal for a little crunch and protein. I might have a piece of whole grain toast with my eggs, but not always. One thing I do always have is a protein of some sort to go with the carbs & with eggs, so it's either Canadian bacon or turkey bacon with every breakfast. This morning it was a half a whole grain bagel with natural peanut butter & 2 slices turkey bacon. I also have V-8 juice and my coffee. I'm curious now too. Wondering if the majority of adults really skip breakfast.
  • I never skip breakfast, but I eat a huge breakfast 5 egg whites (not the eggs EGG WHITES big difference) wit celery in it and a big bowl of oatmeal, with a glass of skim milk
  • I never used to eat breakfast, but since I've made a choice to eat healthier in general, I eat a bowl of oatmeal every morning. I find that it gets my metabolism going and fills me up enough to avoid the donuts, pastries, etc. I'm lucky though that I can fix the oatmeal at work and eat at my desk. Mornings at home are always rushed (3 teens at home - 1 bathroom). Need I say more?! LOL
  • That's not a light breakfast. That's more of a big meal to me. I eat a banana for breakfast or leftovers. I don't have time for a big meal like yours.
  • Light breakfast with 2 eggs?Thats interesting. I never eat eggs, they contain high amounts of cholesterol. I eat breakfast everyday. Fruits in summer, bran cereal and toast with mozarella in winter.
  • Brekfayst? What the hell are those? XD Smoke and coffee for me lol. XD
  • i have to have my morning bowl of cereal
  • that is more than i eat usually but i don't skip it
  • I eat very little. When I wake up, my stomach is very sensitive. I usually eat something within 2 hours of waking. I wouldn't want to further damage my metabolism.
  • thats not a big bfast!! its a good bfast esp for a girl!! boiled eggs cut ur risk of breast cancer by 44% percent!! bfast is the most important meal of the day!!
