I tried alligator once, at Gatorland in Florida, bit like chewey chicken. As for eating beaver, there is a joke there somewhere, I'll leave it for someone else :-)

Army VeteranLOL @ the beaver joke.

Angster GangsterFresh Beaver is not bad but if it smells fishy it may be better left alone.

Yeh I picked up on the beaver too hehe.. apart from that, I've had wild boar, kangaroo (which is absolutely delicious) and a little bit of horse meat... my bother had it on holiday in italy and said here try this so I did and then he told me it was horse.... not happy!

I have eaten turtle. But only tasted beaver.

I've had Camel, Crocodile and Kangaroo (though Kangaroo isn't that special down here, lol) Camel was actually a really strange meat... From what I remember (it was like 12 years ago that I had the Camel and Crocodile, lol) it was kinda... jellyish and rubbery-ish... tasted great though : P Crocodile was nice too, nothing very special about it that I remember... Kangaroo is great : P Waaaay better than beef is. (And there are Kangaroos -everywhere- in the rural areas down here)
-
I had snails before
-
fried turtle, fried gator, frog legs (that meal also consisted of oysters and chinese food) and snake
-
Squirrel, armadillo, rattlesnake, alligator. These are the things I have eaten that you don't typically find on most restaurant menus. I'll leave the beaver jokes alone, just too easy.
-
I've had alligator and frog legs.
-
I ate a lizard on a dare once. It was pretty horrible.
-
G'day Highlander, Thanks for your question. I have eaten kangaroo. It is quite nice. Regards
-
I am a fan of shaved beaver and have eaten out a lot; regards.
-
Granny used to make turtle soup and frog legs. Not a fan. Groundhog and beaver is the best meat ever...take wagyu beef, increase its flavor bigtime, then prepare it by the best recipe ever and...you still cannot come close to groundhog or beaver.
-
I have never eaten any of the animals you mentioned, I have eaten racoon, possum, alligator, deer, elk, moose, escargot, ostrich and ostrich egg, frog legs, rain bug, and maybe cat, if the cook was telling the truth about the "mystery meat" in the stir fry anyway.
-
None of those. I've eaten ostrich, octopus, scrambled eggs and brains souse, head cheese, frog legs, etc.
-
Fried Croc, is really good, it tastes like... chicken.
-
ewww gross
-
Frog legs are very good.
-
Turtle, yes. Nothing else really exotic, though I enjoy organ meats from more conventional animals. I've eaten frog legs and doves, too. I don't regard them as unusual, but some people do.
-
Fried crickets at the zoo, they tasted like corn chips
