Many reasons, lesson is boring to the individual, teacher doesn't make it interesting, they haven't slept properly, problems going on at home or in school, reduced attention span.

in short they stay up far too late at night playing stupid ipads that interupt their sleep.

Boredom, fatigue, I used to fall asleep in class sometimes. I had a 2+ hour bus ride to get there though. Up before daylight to catch the bus, and get off the bus after dark in winter made for sleepy students. 1/27/26
