Is it required for Atheists to swear on the Bible in court?

I live in Ireland so in this country anyone who does not swear on the bible in court can make an affirmation. Some countries are different than others with the way a court of law works I think. There is always an alternative way of doing things for non-religious atheists.

In Australia they do , I told the turn out the book is a load of shit when they made me swear on it. Muslims get to swear on the quran when they tell lies in court.
