  • I’m aware everyone has a disability of some sort but I’m not sure of mine. I have certain learning difficulties on certain things in life but it could be seen as a disability from someone who may not understand the difficulties I have. A difficulty is not a disability because there is a difference between them.

      Learning disabilities can sometimes be disabling. So can ADD and ADHD. I was told my son qualified for SS disability when he was in 1st or 2nd grade, but he's also gifted. And since I didn't want HIM to limit himself, I didn't apply for the disability because I didn't want him labeled as such.

      As I said in my answer, there is a difference between a difficulty and a disability. Having a difficulty means room for improvement while a disability means not able for something. I am aware everyone has some form of a disability but I’m just not aware which disability I have.
  • Yes, I've been determined disabled by the Social Security Administration.
  • Until 20 years ago, I never wished anyone to endure the TOTALLY CURABLE type 1 diabetes. Lately, I wish it upon about 1 out of 5 people, and they seriously do deserve it.
