The past holds pockets of comfort. The uncertainty of the future with its rising inflation isn't such an attractive option right now. Maybe it'll look better when Biden and his Bolsheviks are gone.

Sometimes I look into the past for learning experience. I don’t think about the future because nobody knows what is ahead in time. People who claim to know the future are guessing as they are sometimes wrong and sometimes right. I focus more on the present to get with the program if you catch my meaning. It’s better for the mental health to focus on the present instead of thinking of the past all the time in case the past is hurtful
