    I thought this was an either / or question until I saw black mystique's answer! I'd prefer a cruise. I have the extra time now, and I'd rather be able to walk around and socialize on the trip. Also from what I hear the food is better on a cruise.

    I have been on many plane rides. Though rarely on cruise ships. A ship cruise will definitely be something I would like.

    I never experienced a cruise, but I have gone to Europe on a plane. Made stops in Geneva, Switzerland and Frankfurt, Germany. From there I rode a train to Berlin - this was back in the days of the Cold War and the city was surrounded by Sovietland. Flew out of Berlin, back to Frankfurt, then to JFK.
