Victorine They did not have a pre-nup, but she is not asking for spousal support. She wouldn't need it,. There will be a fair settlement, I'm sure, but she has her own wealth.

I'm saddened, since I admire them both, but I don't second-guess or criticize these situations. Only the parties to a marriage really know what goes on in it and what they can and cannot continue to do.

well i been married for ever and yes you need to work on a marriage to keep both happy ..if one party thinks "oh its ok he or she loves me, it will be ok mate attitude " and dont try to keep pleasing the other and show love 24/7 well marriages will fail ....some just stop trying

I think they are in the last phase of their lives, he is 65 and she is the equivalent and they both have enough money to live it up in their old age. They don't want to have each other around to cramp their style.
