  • Clothing is more expensive, so I doubt this is a major incentive.

It's a little mysigonistic to think that he should have to wear certain clothes, isn't it?

Oh, so transgenders should stay in the (water) closet or face your prejudgement?
    • Archie Bunker
Who said he's transgender? The guy changed his sex (which we're apparently allowed to do on a whim) to get cheaper insurance. I wonder if I can do that so I can get access to the local women-only gym.
    • mushroom
Well that's fraud, but then again, insurance companies use your education level to set your rates, so who's defrauding whom?
    • Linda Joy
The guy publicly admitted he only did it to get cheaper insurance. Yes, it's fraud, but in today's political environment they're more likely to increase the rate for females UNFAIRLY than dare to "DISCRIMINATE" against a phony tranny. Women are having awards stolen from them as well. Is it time for another TRUE women's movement? And if you decide to break into a woman's gym make it the YWCA! If you're gonna do something you may as well go big!
    • Archie Bunker
Legally, it's not fraud if he legally changed his gender. And yes, mushroom, education level is factored in to your rates, but so is your legal gender. I wonder what they're gonna do with those idiots who claim they're not either.
    • Archie Bunker
Linda, I'm curious which awards are being stolen?
  • It's not as repugnant as those 'identifying as a womsn' so they can play in womens' sports so they can steal first place from the woman who earned it!
    • Archie Bunker
I hear ya, Linda. I agree wholeheartedly. But, the guy is taking advantage of the system that allows such thing. People shouldn't be upset when it happens. That's what happens when you let guys use the girls bathroom, I guess.

Sometimes I'm glad I'm old and won't have to look at this disgusting mess that is our world much longer!
    • Archie Bunker
I feel like an old man, wondering what the hell is wrong with these "kids."
  • i think its crazy to do it for that reason
  • I think it is insane to want to change genders for any reason.
  • I don't know why he is complaining. Men make an average if 21% more than a woman. The average income for a man in 2017 was $57,617. That means he earned approximately $12,105 more than a woman for the same amount of work. That equals to $1008.75 more per month for car insurance.

Boola, the "gender pay gap" is a fallacy. You're not taking everything in to consideration when you come up with your numbers. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid. All you're doing is taking the average salary of all men and all women who work full time. You don't consider career choices, family choices, occupations, positions, work hours, tenure, educaiton... Factor all of that in and the "gender pay gap" is gone.
