Roaring Made with dandelion flower heads raisins, oranges, grapefruits, sugar and yeast. The first time I made it turned out great(very strong) -
Murgatroyd I first heard dandelion wine mentioned in David Bowie's novelty song "The Laughing Gnome" when I was 11. A few months earlier I heard Elton John mention elderberry wine, and a few years later I heard Ralph McTell mention nettle wine. I have never tried any of these wines.

Sure! In this area they even make some with a handle specifically for drinking both in pints and quarts.

I do not use jars as drinking vessels. Jars are for storing various food items in, not for drinking out of. I haven't looked what make the jars are, but I don't recall seeing the brand name Mason on any of them.
