You don't, that's very gross.

It's a difficult one, if you love someone you want to kiss them but when they have smelly breath if makes you retch. If you're very close to someone you should be able to tell them in a manner that won't upset them too much.

I'd only be kissing a loved one, so I would explain nicely that their breath was not very good and that they might want to do something about it. And being close I know it wouldn't be a big thing to say that to them. If I'm close enough to someone to kiss, surely we're close enough to help someone out with a problem like breath.
