I was asked to write something on the board and it had a v in it and the teacher said my v looked like a r and then the whole class wasted 10 minutes debating it.

Yep, and it's mostly just joking because we're friends. In return i embarrass the teacher back in front of the class. Sometime my class is just like a comedy show lol. It's nothing serious. But if you mean that "Has a teacher ever embarrassed you seriously..." Then no.

Yeah, one teacher used to go to great lengths to do that. Mean old b*tch she was too - picking on a 6 year old kid. She sent me out of the class for something we'd both seen another kid do. She'd mimic me if I answered a question (right OR wrong). She'd interrogate me in front of the whole class and let them loose on me if I did anything wrong. Never seemed to happen to the other kids. She apparently had a reputation for picking one out of the crowd and being extremely vindictive. Guess I was the lucky one!

Yes! Mr. Harris made my life a living h*ll in high school. It wasn't just me though, he took great delight in humiliating everyone.

Yes, when i was in grade 3 there was a flawk of sea gulls outside the window and the teacher made a comment that i sounded like them. My nickname became seagull after that! In grade 4 there was a student who kept turning around during a test asking me for answers and i refused. the teacher came up and started yelling, accused me of cheating, then made me stand up & then picked me up by my throat and lefted me off the ground. needless to say she got fired!

This just happened recently; I'm in tenth grade: I was writing a note to a friend in another class during math, and hid the notebook it was in under my math notes. I was always a very good kid in class, and I never usually did this. The teacher walked up to my desk, ripped the note out of my notebook, saying, "This is going to infuriate me", and she took it to her desk, read it to herself, and threw it away. It wasn't a huge deal, but since I wasn't used to ever getting in trouble, I was extremely embarrassed and started to cry in front of everyone. What the teacher did wasn't that bad, but considering I had never done anything wrong before, she should have simply caught my attention and told me to put the notebook away. I would have certainly obayed her command without a fight, and I'm sure she knew it. Instead I undergoed an embarrassing emotional moment. Luckily, she made up for it by kindly trying to cheer me up. It didn't work, and I'm still a bit upset about the humiliating incident. At least now she understands that I'm very sensative. :P
