Is the little fan in the power supply lighting? The power supply could be bad or the main pwa or the cpu may be shorted. You have to open it and check the caps if they are swolen on top on the main pwa the pwa will have to be changed. These are some of the causes i have seen. Good Luck

Check the fuse in the plug on the end of the computer's power cord.

My first guesses would be; either the power supply has failed somehow (could be as simple as a busted fuse), or perhaps your "on" button has broken or become disconnected from the motherboard. But I think modern motherboards have a great deal of control over power distribution, too, so something there may have failed. My computer has circuitry in the motherboard that controls the speed of it's three fans (so that the spin in sync, to minimize noise), so obviously a critical motherboard failure could knock them out, as well as everything else.
