I always put the end of the pillow on the closed end of the pillow case. I don't like it when the tag sticks out of the pillow, it doesn't feel comfortable when it tickles your face when you sleep.

Tag put to the closed end

I personally like to put the tag way inside the pillow so if, as is unual for me, half my pollow is hanging out then the tag doesn't annoy me. However, my late husband worked in the hospitality industry and he told me that you should leave the tag out so that people can check what kind of pillow they will be using. I always said that is okay for the hotel industry when many may used the one pillow over time, but in MY home and on MY pollow the tag goes to the inside of the case and hides it's little head in shame.

tag to the closed end. I don't want to see or feel the tag.

It matters if you are a schoolboy, the paper has to roll out from the top of the roll,so as not to create to much friction. The reason being that when flushing the toilet you make sure that there is a pile of paper in the bowl that is still connected to the toilet roll, then press the flush and watch the roll doing about 500rpm as the paper races down the sewer lines.

Of course, you put the tags in the closed end of the pillow. You don't want your tags to show. An even better practice is to carefull cut the tags off, so it won't matter which end is out.
-
Closed end- of course. I hate when the tag sticks out.
-
I always remove the tags.
-
that bugs me too, I have to put the tag end inside the closed end of the pillow, hate those tags liked your question..:)
-
hope i don't get arrested, i take the tag off. on the mattress too.
-
tag goes to the closed end. if it brushes my hand and night it might scare me.
-
Tag inside of the case definatly! And the tag of the duvet has to be at the bottom of the cover, ie where your feet go. Also the pillow openings have to be facing inwards (so you cant see them) and the design pillow has to be on top, so when i get into bed i can swap it over and sleep on the comfy soft one underneath that it wont matter if i dribble on. I think ive taken this question a bit litterally. :P

i rip the tags off
-
I put it in the back of the pillow case.
-
I always cut the tags off.
-
always the closed end!!!
-
I rip the tags out and then every time I make the bed and change the pillowcases I rotate the pillows so they each get equal use. I am a complete mattress flipper, too.
-
Tag has to go in the closed end..that is a must will not compromise..LOL
-
The closed end. It's gross to put it in the open end.
-
I put it in the closed end...I have this thing about seeing the tag hanging outside of the pillowcase. Ugh!!
-
I take all tags off everything, f_ck tags. I use zippered pillow cases because I hate that extra fabric on the end of open ones. That probably makes me sound really OCD ...huh
-
Always the closed end.
-
I make sure the tag goes in first. This bothers me :)
-
tag to the bottom(closed) end of the pillow case... for no other reason than thats how my mother did it that way
-
On the open end. I love everything about pillows, including the tags.
-
Oh, those tags gotta go - first thing when I get stuff home from the store! But I don't just rip 'em, it may leave a hole - in the case of feather pillows, definitely not the best idea, lol!
-
Closed end, of course! What kind of slob do you think I am? (lol!)
-
Closed end, I'm also an "over" instead of an under when putting a new roll of toilet paper on. Pet peeve of mine.
-
The closed end. I don't like the tag sticking out.
-
i take that tag off when i buy the pillow.
-
Well, I guess when i think of it, I put the tag in because every little thing irritates me when I am trying to go to sleep.
-
You always put the rought seam with the tag inside the pillow first. That way if there is any pillow showing, you don't see an ugly seam or a tag hanging out from the end of a beautiful pillow case. Or an ordinary pillow case either for that matter.

My pillows have their tags removed before use :)
