  • I did. They can get big. They eat baby mice, gross. I knew a guy that had one so big he had to feed it baby pigs. They stink, they aren't very friendly if you don't pay a lot of attention to it. But they're cool to have around, they're quiet and relaxing to watch slither around.
  • I have one that is 15 years old and they make great pets as long as they are cared for properly. Just make sure that they have fresh water everyday, their tank is clear of feces and urine, and they have a heat lamp. Also, they need a water bowl big enough for them to be able to soak in when they shed. They do not get much bigger than 6 feet and that is very big for a ball. Mine is named Kaa (from the jungle Book) and she is a great lap snake. I can sit with her on the couch for hours. she is very affectionate and loves to give kisses:) I can't think of a better snake to begin owning and caring for reptiles. If you are not sure of what exactly you need, do some research on the internet. there are some excellent sites out there that will walk you through it. Good Luck.
  • I dont know much about Ball Pythons but I just baught a California King Snake mine is just a baby still but they are kinda in the same family they are both constrictors and most Ball Pythons get to be about 6 ft they are usualy done growing by the age of 2 or 3 mine is 4 mo old and is about 2 1/2 ft already his full length is 6 to 7 ft so he is going to be a big baby he is very sweet and calm.
