• I believe that. Man cannot predict when the end will come. It may be tonight, it may be another million years away. No one but the Father knows.
• no we do not no when it will be here or if it will happen and many people have written or predicted that it is going to happen, now we are being told 2012, i really think no one knows ,maybe be one day someone will press the wrong button,so i think you have it right we do not no.
• Gabriel will blow his horn . . . I think that's what the Bible says . . . then we will know the end is imminent. I am ready.
• ((وما تدري نفس ماذا تكسب غداً وما تدري نفس بأي أرض تموت)) "not knowing what he will earn tomorrow, not knowing in what land dies" -Holy Quran as we don't know the time of our death, we also won't know the end of time ...
• No humans do not know , but when Jesus was on the earth he gave the signs we need to look for ,not for the end of the earth but end of badness . (Matthew 24:3-14) While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” 4 And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out that nobody misleads YOU; 5 for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress. 9 “Then people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name. 10 Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. 13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. Revelation 12:7-12) And war broke out in heaven: Mi′cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! 11 And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. 12 On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.” (Psalm 37:9-11) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. 10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. (Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.

Jesus is NOT God...Jesus himself prayed to him. and then we have (Matthew 24:36) ?Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.

Pugs, praying is to speak to God. As for no man or nobody as you say knows the day and hour: obviously Jesus has to know, since He is expected to come in His second return. :)
• We won't know when is the end of the world until the world has ended. It's just as likely to end on any other day as it is December 21 or 23, 2012.
• It is not for us to know a lot of things because we are on a physical plane. I don't give a crap when the world will end. It is NOW that counts and the world is just a ball of physical dirt. We are eternal.
• Original question before any later changes if any is: "In Acts 1:7, Jesus says, "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority"..so I don't believe we will ever truely know the end of the world. What do you think? By BAnginBAxta has a Ph.D in the Truth " My answer is: Many people interpret the Coming of the Kingdom of Heaven as meaning the time of the end of the world and as an actual physical end i.e. major geologic distruption or gamma ray burst or meteor striking the earth i.e something on a major scale that kills most if not all of the Earths population in one short time period. However, There are some who interpret the end of the world as applying to each individual alone. i.e for example a person who becomes born again (an earthly event not worldly event Jn chap 3) and it changes that person spiritually so they begin to discern to some extent where the Kingdom of Heaven(i.e. God's Spirit) reigns in their life & where the world still has an unwanted hold on their life i.e they begin to discern the extent or end of the worlds hold on them. There exist Earthly Things,Worldly Things and Heavenly Things. Jesus in his Gospel Teachings is talking mainly about Earthly and Heavenly Things.Jesus references to the world are to distinguish Heavenly and Earthly things from Worldly(Manmade Government, religions, education, legal, bussiness, biomedicine etc) things. With the above thoughts in mind be aware The answer to your quesion is given in Lu 17:20: "Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.” <-some people interpret the word within as among i.e referring to Jesus himself standing there among them. See what Jesus says in Jn 14:6 to understand where the among interpretation comes from. See Luke 24:32 for where the other use of within is used i.e The True Believer can experience the Kingdom of Heaven within. But it is left as an invitation to the Pharisees and unsaved to accept Jesus as God and believe to be saved. The Greek Word for Within in Lu 17:20 can mean either within or among depending on how its used.It does not appear to me that the Pharisee's had the Kingdom of God within them at that time because most of them opposed Jesus and his teachings. The issue is confused due to the fact there exists another false Born Again experience(see Genesis 3:7 experienced by many different church goers. This misleads many because it makes them believe they are saved and yet are not. Gave you 2 pts i.e 37 to 39 pts, in case that is what you seek. Thanks for interesting question.
• Yes, we will never know when the end of the world is. It could a million years away or even the very next moment you finish reading this answer. We got to be ready to face the King anytime.
• I think that's what he was getting at. IMHO,the fate of the world is in our own filthy hands. +4 Baxta
• "Of that hour and day, no man knows" ...but Jesus (and all the OT Prophets)spend a great amount of time speaking of end days events in order that we mighy recognize the season, if not the time and day. This is for our benefit that we may know what to expect, and more importantly to keep us alert to our own condition of readiness. In short, my understanding of Jesus' end times warnings is that decievers and apostacy will come before he does, and that we should recognize those times in order to prepare for his coming and share the truth to the best of our ability. +5
• I think that I'm atheist and therefore don't give a shit what that massive douche said. We're all screwed anyway.
• When the time is right, when the moment is come, we will know. That is also written. The end for the earthly world is not for those His church.
• I agree. We were never meant to know.
• Matthew 24:36 says no man knows the day and hour, not even the angels in Heaven, but the Father only. The analogy of the times or dates: Jesus will return like a thief in the night. Luke 12:39-40 "But know this, that if the master of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have left his house to be broken into. 40 You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."
• "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed."
• Using historical records and clues from the Bible, the actual birth of Christ can be estimated to fall between a span of 7 days. On the other end of the spectrum, determining the day that the world will end becomes a bit of a challenge. When you understand the concept of time, you can get an idea of what to expect. Contrary to the way people generally believe, no one goes to heaven when they die. John 3:13 says, "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven." This means that neither Adam, nor Moses, nor Noah went to heaven when they died. Heaven is God's home and no one will ever pass through that gate except the Son of God. The Bible does say, however, that a new kingdom will be built on earth. This is the kingdom that man will inherit. Before he does, however, the earth has to be destroyed and rebuilt. This will happen using fire. As for what will happen to the bodies of those who have already died since Adam was alive, the answer is "nothing". They no longer exist. When you die, it's like going to sleep. The time interval between going to sleep and waking up again seems instantaneous, although several hours might have passed. It doesn't matter how long you're asleep, your conscious awareness of the time passed is nothing. People who lived in Biblical times have been "sleeping" for thousands of years, but they don't know it. By the time the end of the world comes and they're resurrected, it will seem just as instantaneous for them as the person who died only seconds before. Looking at things in this light, the end of the world comes the moment "you" (the individual) die. And it supports what the Scriptures say about "no one knows" - because it's different for everyone.
