Make out like they are just sleeping so you don't scare the other passagers?

I'm pretty sure this would be a major stumbling block in my vacation plans. After recovering from the shock, I'd ask the flight attendants to make arrangements for a return flight ASAP. I'd ask them how bodies are supposed to be transported and if any legal arrangements for transport need to be made. There are probably very specific airline policies for handling situations like this, since surely it has happened many times. The flight personnel probably seclude you to the extent possible and assist you with whatever contacts and arrangements must be made.

Besides being required to maintain an "attendance" to the body until the plane arrives at its destination,---plan to make lots of reports both verbal and written and answer many questions from airline and police authorities.
