They are pretty well organized .. but I'm not militant about them being in alphabetical order though! :)

Absolutely. Not in alphabetical order but in the order that I use most frequently.

Very much. We have wooden boxes with 8 compartments and a sliding door on top. In each compartment one spice is kept. This is the traditional way spices are keept in households in my part of the world.

Yes. I keep all my whole spices together, then all my dried herbs, then I sort the rest as to the spice's main use.

Not yet... I sense some unrest, and there seems to be a movement to elect a leader (Oregano), but so far my saving grace has been that as soon as they form some sort of union, I use up their spokesbottle! +3

My mom is the director of a hospital laboratory, and our kitchen is organized like a research laboratory. Everything in it's place and a place for everything. She's also taught us how to clean up as we cook, and to return things to their places immediately after using them. Our kitchen could pass inspection by OSHA and the FDA even during the peak of preparing dinner on Thanksgiving. All of our spices are in large brown plastic perscription bottles. They are all clearly labeled, and organized in a big rack.
-
And alphabetized
-
alphabetically - NO! They are basically organized by how often I use them. (boring answer - no points here heehee)
-
No, my spices are all non-union. Texas is a "free will to spice state".
