I love quotes and use them all of the time. I find much comfort and motivation in quotes from the past. Nice avatar.

Quotes are good. Some are better than others.
-
It depends. Some are better than others, which then makes it a matter of opinion. Even a crap quote shows some erudition, and (arguably) crap erudition is better than none at all.
-
I love quotes and I appreciate your question. In the words of Francis Bacon: A prudent question is one-half of wisdom. LOL
-
Depends on the quote - some are good, some I can do without
-
I love them and will use them to excess. After all someone is bound to have said it better than I could. And in the spirit of excess here is one for lagniappe: "No brain is stronger than its weakest think." Thomas L. Masson

Love the ones that make me think and ponder.. Hate the completely useless or celebrity ones..

I have a MSN Space and I used to love adding quotes then someone told me it was plagiarism. Then I found something that went something like this… If you know who said it, give them credit. If not use it anyway, because it’s people like us who keep this stuff alive.
-
To a certain extent they're not bad but if they keep they keep coming up, it gets annoying.
-
I love quotes best when they are properly credited.
-
Like a lot of other things-love some-hate others. But ones I keep finding that I love I also love to use!
-
Yes. I most certainly love them or hate them.
-
Absolutely adore them. Why restate something that somebody with more cache has already said better? Because it has more weight then. =) I had a programming teacher once say "If you think you've had a brilliant idea, odds are somebody else already had it, and it's in a C programming library" =p www.quotations.com is an excellent reference source.

both.

"It is my belief that nearly any invented quotation, played with confidence, stands a good chance to deceive."Mark Twain
-
I like them
-
Love them. They provide inspiration and insight.

"Witchcraft is not a belief which goes back to the dawn of time, nor is it a superstition. It is a representation of this world and the invisible forces that which animate it." To think some dude wrote this 600 years ago and didn't get his head lopped off, quotes are pretty win dude.
-
Love them in their proper context.
-
Quotes are awesome, I love them! +5
-
In general I like the good ones and in general the ones I deem to be not good I don't. Love and hate are the not the terms I would use for either - seems rather extreme for my tastes.+5
