I want to go see both before I judge, but I'd be more comfortable in China, since one of my dear friends live there. So my vote would have to be China right now, but my opinion could change if I ever got the chance to see both.

I would like to see china more (i would actually rather go to Japan), but if one of them's more like Japan than the other then its china. Though china isn't really that much like Japan.

India. While I'm aware of the poverty it seems to me that education is taken very seriously in India. We Americans have no respect for what an education can do for us. Indians jump at the opportunity and it shows. I also admire seeing Indians embrace alternative energy as they seem to be.
