Lat top computers are not safe with your personal information. I can sit in front of your house and intercept all your personal information from a laptop computer. once you transmit the information, its out there for the world to use as they please.

We replaced our desktops with laptops and love them.

I just recently got a new laptop. When my old laptop crashed they guy who tried to fix it put a trial of Windows 7 on it, the computer only lasted for about 1-2 hours before the mouse stopped working, but the desktop looked pretty cool.

Desktop. They're better for games, and I'm a supporter of wired connections. I don't like wireless mice, keyboards, routers, etc. Too many batteries, and they're less secure. I don't even use a wireless phone (I have one, but I prefer my other one. Especially good for power failures)

Already have a replacement computer waiting for when my current computer dies. It's a used Dell Optiplex 7010 Mini-Tower, Quad Core i7 3770 with Win7 Pro. I would not touch a laptop without a mouse, and even then, only begrudgingly.

I accidentally smashed the keyboard of my laptop with my fist during the recent election. I replaced it with a desktop that has a separate keyboard that slides under the desk where it will be safer during elections.

I have a refurbished desktop, but recently got a laptop with detachable screen that operates independently like a tablet with the touch screen. I got it to watch/use while on the treadmill.
