I can't say it was the LAST classic film I watch, but it's nonetheless one of my favorites...Great Expectations, a 1946 adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel. I haven't seen it offered on TV recently, but I sure would like to view it again. It's difficult to watch films...and be here in this damndable AB, too :-), which has come near to owning me! [For certain reasons...I'm glad it does, for you up front, and others, give me a lot of comfort and joy.] Anyway, with that bullshit out of the way, there was a remake of the movie in 1998, but I've never seen it...and I don't think I want to. I so like the original black-and-white version...and I don't want it spoiled. +5, of course...but I apologize for doing so. It moved you from 69 to old boring 74! :-) Your old, luvin' AB Gramps

I think it depends on what you would call "classic". The last older movie I watched was an early Clint Eastwood film. I don't remember the name of it. The guy is pretty close to dead so I figure his early movies qualify as being classic.
