  • It seems the interviewer, a very attractive Julie Banderas, was trying her hardest not to commit to a position of accusation while the other guy, the 'strategist' was a lot biased. "Let's not call him a deserter until all the evidence is in. Remember the deserters teammates, he had a responsibility to them. Let's just let the Taliban take care of serving justice in this case and save the uS government a lot of time and money." Gee, talk about stinking of bias. It was probably a good idea for NBC not to broadcast the video of the prisoner. that would just sensationalize the issue and not bring resolution. The military is working on it already.
  • Yes. That guy is a dumbass. Did you hear what he said? In the beginning of the video he says they 'don't know' if he is a deserter, but then goes on to believe all of it.
  • I can't view the video... what does it say? But I will say, yes, Fox has done more than that. . . they have not only lost their minds, but they have gained the minds of others... http://www.outfoxed.org/ http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6737097743434902428
  • They do love the rush to judgement, don't they. As far as I know, Fox "News" is the only major news organization in all of history that has gone into US court to defend their right to deliberately lie to the public. http://www.ceasespin.org/ceasespin_blog/ceasespin_blogger_files/fox_news_gets_okay_to_misinform_public.html
  • Fox "News" never had a mind.
  • No, not at all. It's the only Network that tells all sides of the story any more. Unlike all the others that are so one sided, to the faaarrr far left. The other Networks are nothing but propaganda and that is why they are loosing viewers and Fox is gaining viewers. Smart people want the truth and not a bunch of lies.
  • Fox is the neocon news network. Fox plays to the dumbest Americans. Stupid people now have their own network. I will say it is best watched with the sound off and the picture expanded so you can't see the crawler on the bottom. Their news bimbos are the best looking of all the networks. I now have to go through the answers in an effort to undo the damage the trolls caused down rating the decent answers.
  • Nope, they never had a mind to lose. Fox News simply panders to lowest common denominator.... like Mr Bean.
  • Oh my goodness! I can't believe what I have just watched... I thought I had seen everything with Fox clips! On so many levels, that is just wrong! Kind of makes me understand why there are so many fruit loops on AB if this is the kind of news and 'strategic analysts' they blindly trust. Or, does Fox actively cater to existing fruit loops? I guess it must be the latter.
  • In order to have lost them they'd have to prove they had them in the first place.
  • no...they are the only ones that use theirs..honestly and straightforwardly... what about this video makes you think Fox has lost their mind? both spoke plain and honest TRUTH....i say ,this soldier has lost his..what the hell is he thinking....does he expect to being treated any different as to military protocol.....and he's scared? what military personell isn't scared of these 'terrorists'? he's giving them exactly what they want.... but don't think for one minute our military hasn't been working on trying to rescue...they always do...
  • how about feedback on other military questioned and interrogated....what do u think of this guy?
  • Fox is the only news I watch...they are dare to question the 'O'mans policies. Long live Fox and God bless them for having the nerve to tell the truth. Wake up and smell the flipping coffee.
  • For a channel that has been number one in the ratings for a very long time, I would say that they are doing something right.
  • I never watch TV news. But I'm gonna start watching Fox because of alla the reported hub-bub entertainment value! ;-)
  • Since when have they had minds?
  • Actually, Fox news has the ratings to prove otherwise. They are the only news network that is not biased.
  • Pandering to the lowest common denominator has made Murdoch a very rich man. That doesn't make him crazy. Just a ruthless asshole. His audience may have lost their minds though.
  • they didnt have minds in the first place
  • First off, this guy was a strategist, not a member of the Fox News organization. Secondly, Banderas distanced herself from his opinions and wished for him to be returned, and I think she handled herself well there. Third, as a combat veteran and former 11 Bravo Infantryman, I think the LTC is correct in his opinions "if" desertion is the case, and I know that he is correct in saying that this young man violated the Code of Conduct. Putting myself in his shoes, I don't know what I would do, but knowing that the scumbags will kill me no matter what, I might just tell them to go fuck themselves with a pork dildo, but one has to be in that situation before they truly know what they would do or say. Things that support the LTC's opinion are that no matter what, you travel with a buddy or group when in a foreign land, in a combat situation you never leave a secured area unless on a mission or some other type of military business, accountability is a major concern during a patrol, everyone has to stay together (in a combat situation this is paramount), so I find it hard to believe that he was allowed to lag behind, and the LTC probably has some contacts within the unit that are intimating this part of the story to him. I think that his assessment of the situation is harsh, and that someone who has never served in that environment finds it difficult to understand, but if you were to ask those that have been there about it, you may find their response is pretty close to his (if the situation described is true).
  • What do you expect? Fox is the afterbirth of the prostitute named Rupert Murdoch.
  • YES, yes they have.
  • It does look a bit as if they have. How about we setup a collection to buy them a microscope so they can find it again ? ;-)
  • Yes, The folks at fox news are mad.
  • Fox News is live. They don't know what their guests are going to say. If they something nutty, it isn't Fox's fault. The reporter should have stopped him and questioned the guy and stopped what he was saying. Tell me what news program doesn't do this sort of thing. It happens on MSNBC, CNN, NBC, ABC, and CBS too. You people just don't like Fox because they lean in a different direction than you do. Just don't watch it. Stick to channels that have educated guests who are informed of the issues like the non biased Jemeane Garafalo.
  • I think it would be more accurate to say: They have decided to stop using the portion of the brain typically used for serious story-telling, in favour of the portion typically used for humor and dissembling.
  • FNC only reliable place to get the facts. The rest are largely a propaganda machine for the Democrats. As far as this specific clip, are you saying they should censor what a guest says?
  • I doubt it - they're crazy like a fox (you should forgive the pun), with those high ratings. They're not my cup of tea, and I love to hear Keith Olberman's nasty - and hiliarious - zingers about Fox on MSNBC.
  • How DARE fox go against the mainstream media! . You think obama is pissed? He seems to criticize them a lot.
  • no, they're crazy like a fox (no pun intended). rupert murdoch of newscorp knows exactly what he's doing, and it's not good for america.
  • I got too bored before i could finish watching.. :P can someone summarize why they lost their minds?
  • You can't lose what you never had.
