  • Yes, because the police should have been called first.
  • that's rather vague. at certain ages, fear of physical punishment is necessary for some kids. it's all in the details. not every brat getting smacked is abused
  • It depends whether you mean the child got a slap, or punched in the face.
  • yes unless the parent draws blood or breaks some bones. Spare the rod spoil the child.
  • I know a lady that slapped her little girl's hand for grabbing an item in the store. Someone called family services and her child was taken from her and placed in foster care who beat the little girl and gave her brain damage.
  • i know someone who had the child services called so much it became a daily thing. they didnt break a law but no one could handle a child crying not getting there way then years later that child is sitting in jail for 3 months facing charges they dont understand cause they grew up being told they didnt do no wrong. society has made it exceptionable for children to get whatever they want when they want to and punish parents for trying to control the chaos thats being created with the services always having to get involved overloading their cases making it easy to just remove the children to ease the case loads they are being given. we need to bring back punishment keep kids home and out of the system. need to teach parents whats legal and help them not rip them apart to say they are never good enough. my public opinion based on what i have seen.
