• You can try a mild de-greaser, such as a 409 about 1 cup to 1/2 gallon of water. Using a sponge, dampen the entire shoe. Allow to dry. Then brush entire surface to raise the nap. A good tool to brush the suede is a 'Scotch pad'- Most folks can find one at the supermarket. It's the green side attached to the yellow kitchen sponge.
