Are there symptoms that are confused with HIV and Lupus? I mean are there any related symptoms that may confuse a diagnosis for something different, like HIV? What are common confusable symptoms associated with HIV?

Hmmm, there may be some types of symptoms with Lupus and Hiv, as they both attack the autoimmune system. Lupus and Hiv are easily dxed with a blood test. Lupus symptoms are extreme fatigue, joint pain,infection,thrush, batirial growths and many, many more.I would try not to worry, but if you are, get the appropriate blood work. An Hiv test, and an ANA test for Lupus.
