  • I think that Stephen King short stories will be part of a survey course. Chuck Palahniuk has a shot at being included. Billy Collins will probably make it in as a poet.
  • The Phillip Pullman novels are already making into college courses (alongside Paradise Lost of course), so there is a chance that they *might* be taught. Maybe. The Knife of Never Letting Go sounds promising too... I think Jhumpa Lahiri's short stories will be more widely taught - The Interpreter of Maladies was a great collection. St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves is another great collection of short fiction I think might be taught someday. =P
