Say 'look mate. I don't know who you think you are talking to, but for God sake could you not of chosen someone with money to shoot?! You are such an ameteur' Then I would roll my eyes and be on my merry way, and he/she will be on the floor crying because he/she is a pathetic mugger who got kicked in the groin really hard by a 16 year old

It all depends on how much money the guy is asking for! If he was asking for a little amount of money I would probably fight back because 50/50 chance you would get shot or just give the guy the money so you dont die

I would give it to him. I never carry much cash anyway . No point in putting up a fight over nothing

Uh... hand it over? I'd assume most muggers are desperate drug addicts and/or hardened gang members, would you really want to push EITHER of those types of people into anger/more desperation? Hell no, I'd just give them the money. My life is worth a hell of a lot more than my pride or my idea of myself as 'hardcore'.

Depends if he was alone or not, if he was alone I might be willing to take a chance and fight back. Better to die on your feet then to live on your knees.

I would intentionally piss my pants, and pretend to pass out, trying to fall on something noisy, and land on the area where my money is so he would have to roll me over...then if he attempted to roll me over, I would knock him on his ass and run the opposite direction, or providing that the surrounding environment leaves with me with inadequate exit scenarios, I would neutralize him when the opportunity presents itself with a few hand-combat tactical manuvers I have learned along the way, spit in his face and walk away.

Wow, IDK for sure. Depends on where they were standing I guess. Just might shift me into survival mode enough to make a move. I figure if someone has a gun to my head they plan on using it. They might take my $$ and shoot me anyway. Depends on the situation I guess.

rip the gun from his hands likely dislocating his shoulder in the process, shoot him several times with his own gun, call and wait for the police. stupid moron, the gun is a distance weapon, even an amature can disarm you if you hold it to his head. one less stupid criminal in the world. was he doing the sideways gangster hold too?

I don't carry more money than I can part with. Anything else though and it'll be time to renegotiate. Sadly, the act of giving them money often tempts them to demand more. . That said, a gun to the head is a very strong negotiating tool.

This is a good gun control takeaway. I'd much prefer instead of pulling the gun away, I'd push it in farther and put a bullet or two through his kidney, but that's more aggressive than most people are comfortable with.

Why would I believe that, if I gave the person all of my money, they would not just shoot me anyway? Gun to my head is much easier to disarm than the same guy standing out of my range with the gun pointed at me. I would drop to the ground as I leg swept, then take out his throat when he was on the ground. If there was more than just a gun to my head it would be more complex. Odds are I would live. If I did not, the odds would have been poor that I would live had I not fought back.

This happened to me. Money...he could have had it but for some reason that wasn't enough for him. He was under the influence and panicked when he realized I knew who he was and could identify him. I had a moment when I realized my kids might be watching out the window and that bothered me immensely. Then I remember my next thought was that if he shot me in the head they would see me either die or worse. I also remember resolving that I wouldn't stand there listening to him telling me he was going to kill me. After that I don't remember what happened next but witnesses say I fought him off and slowly walked the 500 yards to my door with him screaming he would kill me. He was later arrested and sentenced to a mere six months in jail. I had to move my family to keep safe and it cost me a ton of money. I still don't remember fighting him or walking away haha

I think I would reach for my wallet, pull out my .38 Cobra instead, and put a round in him.
