  • I recently came across a site called unlimitedps3downloads.com. They advertise they have a large database of games for the ps3 that you can download and it's entirely legal. I checked it out and all the sites I found made it sound legit, you pay a one time fee of $50.00 and download any games, movies or music from their site . It sounded a little too good to be true, but I found nothing bad about it on the web. So I paid for it because the site offered a 60 day no questions asked refund policy. So as soon as I did pay for the site through paypal and log in I realized the site was nothing more than a scam. It only gave you directions and links to download Peer to Peer torrent software and gave you links to download games (which is illegal). Though they put a little disclaimer on their page in one section noting that copying copyrighted material is illegal, that's exactly what the site does...they advertise though to make it sound as if they have a database of games they legally got permission to share. So seeing this was an illegal scam I went to the sites help area to request a refund. It requires you to make a different sign in and password to access their technical support section, so I did so and all it allows you to do is ask questions for technical support or to request a refund. So I requested a refund and added the number of the paypal invoice where I paid for the service. They mention that all questions are dealt with by their staff in a day or two. So I waited and after 2 days no refund. So I go back to the site and it says the technical support forum is closed and operates regular hours (9-5) on Madrid Spain time (GMT+1). So I make sure to check back on the forum during the operating hours in that time zone and still no matter what time I check back (their page has a little timer letting you know what time it is in +1 time zone) the forum is closed. The site has no other way to contact anyone. Sooo my question is, can I contest this charge through paypal or is there some other means of getting my money back? I figure probabbly not but I thought I would ask before I go on a mission to post scam blogs about this site. I figure if I won't get my money back, I might stop some others from wasting theirs.
  • hey there, same exact thing has happened to me. I did a little research and also fell for it. All i have done is email them at the technicalsupport email they have. I dont see how i can login with a techincal support username and password. Im pissed off and i want my money back ! lol
