I can't use either. The fire department has forbid me to use anything associated with fire..........(Hey, thanks for making me a friend) ;)

scented candles or diffusers mostly. I do use incense sticks or cones at times too.

Candles, incense is too intense, too much smoke, gets in the drapes and furniture and leaves a stale burned smell. In my opinion.

i prefer the plug-ins and also the glade puffer spray, which is worked by batteries and sprays at intervals

I buy tiny bottles of concentrated stuff - I add a drop or two on top of a block of wax (ex-candle) on a ceramic warmer and use a tealite candle to melt it and gradually release its perfume.
