use fructis, trust me its really good..i had the same problem and that really helped..

Spray your hairbrush with static guard...I did it and it worked for me.

A little hairspray or water will help keep the static down.

When you have washed it, spray it with a straightening hair defence spray to protect it from the heat, reduce split ends and stop the static. I use one by Tresemme. Then dry and straighten.

I just take a dryer sheet and rub it down my hair inbetween brush strokes.

i accualy learned that if you get those little papers you put in the dryer that you can run it down your hair and it will get rid of it

As it has already been said, dryer sheets work wonders. I use them, especially in the winter. Canadian winters are brutal for static.
