  • I doubt anything memorable will happen; I'm pretty sure it'll be much like every other past year. • Much of the progress of humankind has come from the belief that things will get better. Watching our country get ready to change presidents, we can feel and see the excitement brewing the hopes of countless tens of thousands of Americans, that in fact, things will get better. That belief in and of itself, will propel us forward in 2009 to make this new year a much better year than the one that recently passed. What we believe and how are hopes are prepared in the faith of things to change, will in fact create that change.
  • It's going to be a great year! Everything will improve. The country has a chance to come together. I hope we can stave off a deeper and continuing recession. The boys and girls will be coming home. Hubby and I are closer than ever.
