The blower motor in my Lennox gas-fired hot air heater needs replacing, and I can get a replacement which requires inserting the motor shaft into the fan and connecting two wires. Is it safe to attempt this job myself?

how handy are you?not that dangerous but switch main power off at the main panel.also replace the capacitor(rated in microfarreds)match the new motors capacidence.
