Your question is vague. If you are paying support for your child why do you want it back? What are the circumstances behind this question?
-
The money is not for your ex, it is for your child. Why would you choose not to support your own child?

First of all when you say you have your "OWN" family to support I certainly hope you are not referring to the new woman in your life children that you did not father because a judge will look down on that. Your number one and the only ones to support are your kids. Further more child support standards and guidlines may vary from state to state but in general it is a 1/3 of the non custodial parent's gross income. And the comments about she does this and she does that...what are you keeping an eye on her? If you knew before you got divorced or during that she had some addictions or problems that was the time to bring them up and go for sole physical custody but you best be right.

You can't get your money back. You can go to the Friend of the Court and try to have your payments reduced. Child support is not only for clothing. It's also for helping to put a roof over their heads, food on the table, utilities and other necessities. You may not like what your ex is doing with the money, but she doesn't have to answer to you.
