  • If you've had speakers, or magnets too close to your tv screen it will cause this green discoloration in spots which can not be fixed unless you replace the tube. if it's the entire screen that just has a green tint, you may be able to take it to a small appliance repair shop to have it tuned up.

  • I'm not an expert in this TV yet, but I have a broken one, same model, that I've been trying to repair at the component level. If you remove the rear panel (be careful it holds a fan connected to the mainboard), you will see 6 adjustments for color mounted top right of all of the circuit cards. 2 red, 2 blue, 2 green. The top row adjusts the color surrounding objects, while the bottom row adjusts the background color. Give these a try. Remember that all of these colors need to be balanced to look correct on the screen. ?So it might take you a while to get it right because while the adjustments are in the back, the screen is in the front. Quite the Pain in the ***! Good luck. Hope this helps. Electronic Technician 2nd Class US NAVY Beau Anderson
