buying something that everyone needs and will use that I can afford. Family isnt' a big deal but it's the friends and doctors and all that is hard. What do you get someone that you don't know what they really like or collect, etc.

Everyone. I can usually get away with perfumes. I find men very difficult to buy for.

My Dad, I had the hardest time, I ended up buying him two shirts, but he is a hermit and never goes anywhere.

My dad!!! He's such a prick. He doesn't want ANYTHING or my brother He has a real job paying like 14.XX an hour and lives at home so anything I buy he could buy something 290842384 times better.

My in-laws. No matter what anyone gives them, they put it up in their attic!! (they also have all their cash under their mattress!)

Whilist buying presents for my family, I have so many challenges that I have to overcome. For example, I have to pick the most 'corrective' presents that meets & corresponds with friends/families needs. Because if I get my girlfriend a cpu game, however she doesn't play it. Thus, meaning the biggest challenge is choosing the presents that will make the person happy. Additionally, you have to have a fair bit of money to make the correct choices whilist buying presents.

downsizeing. i want to buy fantastic expensive gifts, which i simply cant afford, so im always disapointed and worried pwople will find me tight!!

Finding something that the person does not have and really values. I want to make the gift personal and something that they really want, but I usually can't spend a ton of money. Usually I've been opting to buy gift cards for people.

I don't buy presents anymore. I give my children money. Always appreciated.

My mother. She has a house full of 'stuff'. I try to get her practical instead of more stuff.

The family i sponsor at Christmas each year. I like to give each member a special gift, but deciding what to give often proves difficult as i know nothing at all about them other than their respective gender and ages.

My sister because sometimes i think she will like something and she doesn't and when i think she wont like it she does so she is kind of weird when it comes to presents.

My Son's Teachers because they wonderful. Can anyone tell me a moderately priced present to buy for the Holidays for my son's main Teacher? He also has Six others but the head teacher goes out of his way for him. I have brought Pen sets,Wallets,Gloves,Umbrellas and even Starbucks Gift Certificates.
