What is the Roman Catholilc jargon name for candle snuffer? If not roman catholic, then Latin name for the same?

I think the person responsible for doing this is called an acolyte. As far as the name for the instrument, I thought that was just called a candle snuffer.

Are you looking for a Latin term for the actual item? I don't know that there is one in common use. It's usually just called a snuffer or extinguisher. If asking about the individual(s) who do this, they're just called servers or acolytes.
