  • Try placing the pan in the freezer. If this does not work, you may need to purchase a new roasting pan.
  • Place a fabric laundry sheet in the pan, cover it with water and let it sit for 24 hours. Then wipe out the pan.
  • Hollow is right. Anonymous' answer makes sense as well though I've never tried it. But you may still need to pry the plastic up. Vinegar works too for getting stuck on stuff out of pans. Just let it soak over night or during the day while you're at work. If these don't work let me know there were a few more suggestions on the list.
  • Get as much off as possible by chipping and scraping. When you are down to resedue use acetone and a course scrubber pad. Clean it very well afterward and remember that acetone can melt plastic so be very careful what you get acetone on. I would not use it on any kind of Teflon and keep it away from any plastic handles on the roasting pan.
