  • Yes, he is their father and how terrible to prevent your children from enjoying his company simply because he losses his job and can not pay. Your children are not commodities to be bought and paid for.
  • The kids will always love him, even if he's a raging asshole. It's the nature of kids. Don't use them to punish him. Besides, in this economy LOTS of people are losing their jobs. If it isn't by choice, true to understand and work with him for the kids sake.
  • Am I getting this right? You would wish to stop your kids seeing their Dad because he will not be able to pay child support? Callous!
  • Visitation and child support are two seperate issues. He has every right to have visitation even if he is not paying child support.
  • SO..... Child support is payment for seeing his child? WOW
  • absolutely- he should be able to see his children. Where is it in the divorce decree that they are collateral? I'm sure he isn't happy about losing his job, I would imagine that it gives him a sense of pride to be able to provide for them. To lose a job is upsetting, his children most likely will give him the strength to persevere and look for another job-what parent wants to admit they are unemployed to the people that depend on them the most?
  • Can we say heartless?
