Ok I'll try and pick just one lol, I usually go on and on about these kinda things :P One very important thing would be to teach them that things may not always go your way/things may turn out differently than you had planned. It doesn't necessarily mean it's a failure. Prepare yourself for the negative outcome; do NOT go into an endeavour without the concept of 'This may not work' because if it doesn't, the disappointment will be 10 times worse than if you were prepared to accept it's not-working-out and it takes a lot longer to get over then. (like the old saying Don't count your eggs before they're hatched). It's great to plan things, but don't plan so strictly that you won't let other things happen to you in life (again, another saying: Life is what happens to you when you're making other plans). I know that's a long explanation, but that really is one thing lol, just in detail of the idea :)

to be honest i dont have any kids but when i do get ready for that point im going to teach them that no man/woman is worth losing your life over and that they dont need anyone but God so dont ever let anyone tell you that you need them for anything. You can be alone and independent and getting done what you need to do. Its life you only have one life on Earth you live it to the fullest.
