What does it mean if a guy keeps saying 'open your eyes?' I'm good friends with this guy, we've known each other for a year, solid friendship, we flirt around, tease eachother, it's all good.....but lately he's been saying "hey kira, open your eyes ..."

Am I not noticing something..or shud I check him out more or to notice he likes me? I dunno it's so such an ambiguous meaning to it....or cud he just be playing me?

sounds like he thinks he's making it pretty clear that he likes you but you can't see it, so he tell you this so you'll have a real look at the situation. could be wrong but that's what it sounds like good luck

It doesn't matter what he means. The guy's being lame and dodgy. Cryptic language doesn't help anyone. Ask him what he means. If he won't tell you, then it's really not that important.

I think a funny way of asking him to clarify himself would be to say, "hey, (insert friend's name here), open YOUR mouth and tell me what you mean by that!" Then laugh and he'll probably get the idea that your serious about getting him to clarify but you also have a sense of humour. You'll laugh and joke about it for a few seconds, and then in a serious tone, say, "no but seriously, what do you mean?". That first part will break the ice if there is anybody (corny but who cares), and the second part puts him on the spot to do some explaining. At least you won't have to dance around the topic for the next couple of months if you just hit the nail on the head right now. Then you'll know for sure either way and won't have that "awkward" "unsure" feeling all the time. Life is much simpler when everything is black and white. Hope this helps. Good luck!

My first thought was that Kira is the main character in the japanese anime death note, Kira has a shinigami (god of death) who follows him around like a lost puppy, and Kira does not notice this most of the time. So, in conclusion, this guy is trying to tell you he is always there for you (behind you) and he wants you to open your eyes and realise that he loves you.

So I read everybody's comments and I think he is really just saying "Open your eyes" pherhaps you look tired, or you are very clumsy and he does not want to too keep falling down ! hahaha

What is there about this guy that stops you from ASKING HIM??? (I am not using the caps to yell, I am asking the obvious question) If he's flirting and you are asking why he says things, well, I think its a matter of time before something starts to heat up. You need to relax and ask him, he won't bite.
