Yes, when I was 12 years old, I had a burst appendix. The first doctor botched the operation, and they had to re-open the incision, which eventually resulted in a huge ugly scar across my entire lower abdomen.

Yes, in the middle of my stomach. I had surgery and got infection in the site. The Dr. took out the stitches and it healed from the bottom up. Huge scar and hernia.
