Neither. That is why the Goddess invented Lasik. Lasik changed my life. My eyes were opened!
-
neither for me , but i would rather wear contacts if i got them.
-
Whatever they prefer. I like glasses myself though- I've always been a bit of a sucker for glasses. Especially really strange massive ones people don't wear anymore. I find the weirdest things attractive, I know!
-
I have both, but i'll probably get lasik eye surgery after college
-
Has to be glasses, because I have a dislike of prodding and poking my eye. I know, I know, it gets better with practise. It's not so bad though since I only need glasses for driving.
-
contacts!!!!
-
i would like to wear contacts.but it would cost me. I need one perscription for one eye and one for another.
-
Contacts. Put them in and forget about them, slip them out at night. Easy.
-
Glasses. I just love the way I look in big clunky hornrims, I hate these lame little wire ones my dad picked out. (I was 9 when I got the pair I have now, so still foolish enough to let him pick them out for me.)
-
I'd definitly choose glasses, when i tried wearing contacts i couldnt get them in my eyes unless it folded in on itself, cleaning them is a pain in the backside, and i also dropped one and because it was transparent and so small i couldnt find it [especially with the fact that i can hardly see anyway], also i'd be worried about getting some sort of eye infection, i dont think you get these problems with glasses, though glasses make your eyes go a bit funny and you can tell if someone wears glasses or not, i dont like wearing glasses really either but i dont really have a choice.
-
Glasses.
-
Contacts during the day Glasses in the evening w/baggy sweatpants, super soft tshirt and fuzzy slippers bliss.
-
Glasses for work, contacts for sports and nights out.
-
I definetely prefer contacts. I stopped wearing glasses years ago and if I try to wear them now I get dizzy and nauseous. Plus I couldn't stand the glare and smudges. Of course if Lasik was part of this question I would definetely pick that one.
-
Glasses. I can not put anything in my eyes, it scares me...
-
Glasses Put them on. Take them off. Good use as a shield against pokings from little sisters.
-
Glasses something more sexy about them
-
glasses. contacts just make my eyes water.
-
Laser eye surgery.
-
I wear contacts during the day and glasses in the evening. The glasses are far more comfortable.
-
Glasses, but I can never find exactly the style I want.
-
Glasses. I have worked for an opthalmologist and now a retinal surgeon - no Lasik for my thanks! Support the return of the avatar: http://www.answerbag.com/.../111472
-
Both, though I do like tinted glasses they are a cover for emotions and also protect my very light sensitive eyes.
-
Beer goggles. They're the next best thing to rose-colored glasses.
-
Both.
-
Contacts are bettter in most cases while glases are more comforable.
-
Glasses. Wearing them means you're too confident in yourself to worry that much about how they look on you--and that confidence is much more attractive than wearing contacts could make you anyway.
-
Glasses for shielding out stuff you don't want in or near your eyes. Contacts for dressing up, casual non-work, and times when glasses are impractical because of their 'bulk'. Contacts keep stuff from hitting your eyeball, but that stuff still gets in your eyes. That is sometimes a problem with glasses, too. Glasses for being lazy. Contacts if you can afford to have to be pushing your glasses up. Both to flatten your pocket book, improve your vision, and to prevent those nasty migraines.
-
I have glasses, because my eyes aren't that bad, They just help me read the chalkboard from the back of the classroom and help me see a little better at night. I like them because they give me that artsy look!
-
Glasses, I just can't bring myself to stick things in my eyes yet.
-
Glasses, just for reading.
-
Contacts cause you can change the colour of your eyes..not that your current one needs to be changed but sometimes people need a changing to feel a lot better :)
-
I don't need them, however I would choose Glasses for short term use and contacts for the long term.
-
Only glasses. I wear glasses since I was a year and a half old, so I'm too used to it to try another thing, but the problem is I have to change them once a year... and that isn't cheap...
-
Contacts for sport.
-
yeah i have glasses but i am most likely gettting contacts this summer woo hoo!
-
Both. Contacts in the day, generally to put my "best face" forward in business contacts. But glasses at night. Contacts, by remaining in constant contact with my eyeball, cause me to feel tired at night, i.e., like the Sandman has come. I CANNOT beat them if I have a project or want to spend time with my daughter in the evening. They just knock me out. If I want any kind of life in the evening, I must take them out and use my glasses. Also, since I am farsighted, I can't read very well in them. So even if I just want to read a book alone in bed (without falling asleep because of the Sandman effect) I still have to take out my lenses so that my eyes are able to read the pages.
-
Yes, I'm supposed to, but I hate how I look in them so I tend not to. I tried to get contacts, but my eyes aren't compatible with them for some reason.
-
Yes I do, daily. Seems sort of funny but I wear one contact at a time. I can only see out of one eye (blind in the other), so I laugh when I have to put on glasses! What's the point of having two lenses?
-
I do, though I wish I didn't have to.
-
i should wear glasses to read, study and when using the computer, i just can't be bothered.
-
For the computer, yes.
-
i have glasses that i can wear all the time, although they are for reading. but i rarely wear them. idk why.
-
I should wear glasses, but I don't because the ones I have look very old fashioned now and I can't afford to get any more up to date ones.
-
No and I don't wear contacts either.
-
I wear shades... I guess those could be considered to be glasses.
-
Yes. Or contacts.
-
I wear glasses for driving and for things like watching TV. I do have contacts, but have very dry eyes and it becomes so bothersome to put wetting solution in my eyes every 15 minutes or so. I'm near sighted and thought about surgery, but am scared to do that.
-
contacts
-
I wear glasses, everyone compliments me on them. They're the cute ones and I love them coz the world looks better in them :P Anyway, contact lenses are pain in the arse, and they're costly too. Glasses are hot.
-
I wore glasses for a few years on and off, until my eyes got bad enough to need to wear them all the time. I tried monovision contacts for a year or so, and they were alright, except nothing is ever focused! It's where one eye is corrected for far vision, and the other eye is made to see near. It's how some lazik correction surgeries are done. I've been wearing bifocal contact lenses now for almost 3 years and it's perfect for me. Each night when I remove my contacts, I put on my bifocal glasses. Now that I've gotten used to the luxury of wearing contacts, I don't like wearing glasses. When I wore them full time, I had them slightly tinted to cut out the glare. I didn't add any extras to this pair, because they weren't going to be used as much. In the hour or so I need to wear them, I sometimes get a headache from the glare, or from not being able to see things without putting them into the frame. I hate that!
-
I personally like contacts, but there are advantages to glasses also. Contacts dry your eyes out really bad glasses are better for when your just relaxing.
-
Contacts as my eyesight is very poor and my glasses are quite thick and heavy to wear. The glasses come out when I have had a day of concentrating on my computer screen and my eyes are dry and tired.
-
I wear glasses, felt like I looked like a Teacher or Librarian so decided to try out contacts. Turns out I have a fear of sticking things in my eyes so that didn't work out to well. So glasses it is!
-
Lenses most of the time, but sometimes around my house I'll wear glasses, thinking of getting a laser done though, couple friends did, and it worked great for them.
-
Glasses... see below. I cannot and will not touch my eyes. It freaks me out!
-
Normally no, but I need legally glasses for driving to see longdistances. I was fine until the second year of uni when I kept having to sit closer and closer to the front to read the lectures! So driving, and if I go to a football match/watch one in a pub, like tonight. Come on England! Apparently they make me look intelligent, a back-handed compliment if ever there was one.
-
Neither, now. I had contacts for about 5 years but then my eyes got too dry so I switched to glasses. I had PRK surgery (precursor to LASIK) about 10 years ago, and absolutely love it.
-
Both, depends on how tired my eyes are... I'm very blind :(
-
Glasses - look to your right. :-)
-
Sometimes I wear contacts, sometimes I wear glasses. It all depends on my mood.
-
Glasses, contact lenses are not as clear as glasses are.Contacts keep going out of focus.
-
I am an AVID contact lens wearer and curently due to Pink Eye, I have to wear my glasses. I look so stupid in them, and they are crooked :(
-
Glasses, but am [planning to trial contacts over easter! Wish me luck hehe
-
Glasses. I can't be bothered to deal with the hassle of contact lenses. ^^;
-
I'm supposed to wear glasses, my eyes don't seem compatible with contact lenses. I've always felt I didn't suit them though, so I tend to stumble around blindly.
-
Contacts by choice, but glasses when conjunctivitis hits! Maybe LASIK or a similar procedure will eliminate both in my future.
-
i wear glasses. i have contacts but i have a hard time putting them in cause my eyes are tiny
-
I have to wear glasses. I have had cold sores on the cornea of one eye which is now scarred. I cannot wear contact lenses, and because of the possibility of recurring infectons I cannot have the scarring on my eye fixed or laser eye surgury to correct my sight. Best I can manage is rimless glasses...
-
I wear glasses for reading sometimes. I also wear cosmetic contacts occasionally.
-
Contacts.
-
I have both for different occasions, and several different colored contacts.
-
None. My vision is fine, but not perfect.
-
Glasses. Sticking things in my eyes has brought me nothing but pain.
-
Glasses.
-
Neither but I think I need to , and am going to a lazer clinic for tests on the 16th April. That is a milestone for me because i have a phobia about Opticians, YES I know it sounds pathetic and stupid but it is a fact
-
i got 20/20 vision
-
Glasses for years/contacts/glasses again/contacts/glasses again...lasik surgery. Lasik surgery is now the winner!!
-
Definitely contacts. At least, during the day.
-
I switch back and forth. I'll wear contact lenses for about a year, and then get new glasses and wear those for a year or so. I can never settle on one, but it's convenient to have both options if I need them.
-
I wear glasses; I'm not keen on shoving things in my eyes!

Glasses, because contacts are hard to use and uncomfortable. BUT one of these days I'm going to get lasik and then I can lose the damned glasses too.

-
Contacts! They totally rock, and they don't drop out during P.E.. At first it seems frightening to stick something in your eyes, but when you actually try it, it isn't so hard!
-
Glasses, I'm not comfortable with touching my eyes, I can't even put drops.
-
I constantly wear my glasses. I love contacts, but only wear them on speciall occasions because i dont like sticking my fingers in my eyeball. :D but like the other person, i will hoprfully be getting lasik, which i would looooove!!!
-
glasses. i can't abide the idea of poking myself in the eye deliberately.
-
colored contacts!
-
Contact lenses. I hate wearing eyeglasses. They bother my nose and ears.
-
lenses are too scary for me.. don't you think that lenses just like a piece of thing that trying to iritate your eyes? after putting it on for hours the "drought" is really devastating!
-

-
Glasses to read and drive with.
-
I wore glasses until I was 16, then I got contact lenses, and then at 48 I had Lasik - one of the best things I ever did.
