  • Maybe. But since the media hyped him up so much, they'll point the blame somewhere else.
  • No, it is already there.
  • no, tectonic stress, earthquakes and others water issues will sink us into the ground
  • Some people think he's going to turn the US socialist. Next thing you know you're going to have the SRUSA. Socialist Republic of the United States of America. Hurray dictator Obama! It'll be just like the USSR just when you talk shit about Obama you get sent here to Canada, not Siberia.
  • He could do that very thing. Lets just hope that "We the People" don't let him!
  • No The New World Order WIll.
  • Obama is part of the New World Order, and God shall banish the Illuminatis and Satanists that run this worlds governments to Hell! We don` t know the hour We don` t know where But what we do know is, Lord Jesus Christ is our saviour and God, and we shall not give into the lust of evil and we shall stay as sin free as we can ! God Bless Earth!
  • That's not really fair. Allen Greenspan ran this country into the ground with a very irresponsible monetary policy. As far as I'm concerned you are just as much to blame for this country's downfall as Obama. Our entire economy is based on consumption. We haven't been a nation of producers or savers for many years, artificially low interest rates made loans too easy and cheap. We stuffed our faces, and now we must pay the price. You could blame Obama in part - for his voting for the bailout, but McCain voted for that as well. And it was proposed by the sitting president. The country is running aground, with or without Obama as president.
  • I really hope not. I don't think so. Even though I did not support him, I have a good feeling about him being our president and the impact he will have. No one knows for sure what will happen though.
  • I don't think he will run YOUR country into the ground and I'm pretty confident he won't run OUR country into the ground either because he isn't going to be our president.
  • I voted for him, and I don't think so, besides Bush did a good enough job in the past 8 years, and if a mob shows up in my front yard, come get me but you might be getting chased around the yard with a machete... your call everyone.
  • If he does, he won't be doing it alone. Regardless of how you may feel about McCain, he was right about one thing. The corruption in Washington has gotten WAY out of hand and someone needs to put a stop to it. I didn't vote for Obama, but rather than sit around complaining about him winning the election and picking apart every little thing he says or does, I choose to have a more positive outlook. I don't expect him to fail, nor do I wish for him to just because I voted for someone else. That would be counter-productive. It will take ALL of us working TOGETHER to get this country back to where it should be.
  • naaaa we've survived other hardships we'll survive obama
  • Yeah. Obama's the Anti-Christ. And we're all gonna die.
  • Bush already did that. Obama will figure out something else to do..let's see..hey..maybe he will try to do a good job and bring the country back from the depths..whaddya say? Let's give the guy a chance..then if he fails, slam him. If he succeeds, well, isn't that what we all want? Success? Happy Monday.
  • While I do not agree with most of his politics I would rather believe that he is a man of his word and can bring about positive changes for our country. IT will take more than our president to make these changes. At some point the American people have to come to together and realize the President is only one man and there is a line of corruption under him that have contributed to the problems we are experiencing now. One man will not change those problems and one man alone will not cause new ones.
  • yes surley
  • I hope not, but I'm sure worried.
  • Taking on all the Clintonistas in his administration is not a good sign. God help us if we are going to do the Clinton thing again. I doubt there will be another Internet bubble or another Republian *contract with America* in the works during the next four years. Obama has no checks with House and Senate in pocket. This could be a disaster.
  • I will answer you question like this:Can you name any American city that has prospered and improved after electing a black mayor? This is not a slam against the black mayor, but, the saying holds true,"If you rob Peter to pay Paul, you will always have Paul's vote."
  • The Bush administration already has. It may take time and then its up we go. (That is if we all work together)
  • He'll be running our tax money into his lung's !
  • Bush has already run our country into the ground and then some. President Obama will work to bring us back up to the standard of living and place of admiration in the world that we used to hold. Whether or not he is able to succeed will depend, in large part, upon whether or not others in power will be willing to lay aside political game playing and personal attacks and instead work together for the good of our nation and the world.
  • Uhm, I believe this is a bit dramatic...but I'm pretty sure he'll do some ridiculous damage. BTW PEOPLE:::: Historically: Raising taxes during a financial crisis did NOT help Hoover. Why would it help now?
  • I don't believe he will. Regardless of if your a democrat or republican, we should all believe in him because he's our president and there's nothing we can do about it.
  • No, I believe Bush already did that.
  • He will do exactly as he is instructed.
  • You mean W didn't? Are you better off than you were 8 years ago? Buddy, I'm not. Let's give someone else a chance.
  • Actually he will not. he has given speeches about our economy and he is correct if he wants to fix everything in our history help pollution and maybe lower the prices of food, water, bills, clothes, ect. how is that bringing our world down it is actually accomplishing something! we will be happier!!!

  • yes he will. i don't actually believe that, but it seems that people who ask stuff like this want to hear that kind of response, so i saved you the long list of the usual "obama is the anti-christ" rants
  • It isn't my country. As for your country, I don't think he will.
  • Well I did hear he planned to hit the ground running...
  • He will quicken the pace of what has already happened.
  • And where do you think this country has been for the past 8 years? On the ground buddy.......On the ground. The question is: Can Obama pick this country up? Are all the elements aligned for him to succeed? Only time will tell.
  • Short of an all out Nuclear attack on the rest of the world, I don't see how he could do worse than Bush.
