-
Definitely no! I don't even know how to cook (unless frying and boiling eggs are considered cooking).
-
Almost. I'm still working on it, but she was the best!
-
No,she uses some spells that I dont know yet!
-
God no im a bad cook but she was worse:)
-
No,,Not even close,,, But she likes my cooking;) Thats a good thing;)
-
My mother is a terrible cook, so yes. She bakes well, though
-
Sadly, no, and I never will, my mom was a great cook and always had home made desserts around too.
-
buring food? no i'm 10 years past that. ~pooke
-
of course not mums are the best!!:D
-
Not even close - there's nobody in the world that can cook like my mom. She can take a bunch of nothing and turn it into a feast.
-
Better at some dishes, worse at others.
-
i cook better than your mom.
-
No but I never tried to. I cook what I Like and she cooked what she liked - and i liked some of it.
-
NO. I ws frying a hamburger patty tonight and I saw flames..needless to say I caught the stove on fire. (seriously) My mom was a cook at a public school for 20 years and she cooked everything and never caught anything on fire. So, I would say an astounding NO..
-
Waaay better! (She considered it 'a chore') ;-)
-
Well my mom can't cook beans for beans and my problem is I always forget stuff that's cooking in the oven. So I mostly live on lunchables and candy.
-
The mother never cooked..I cook as good as our cook did though..LOL :)
-
Better. My dad was always the cook, I can't cook as good as he can but much better than my mom.
-
NO
-
Eh depends some things i cook taste better than hers or so my family says, i think she was way better though.
-
some dishes I cook better but for the most part no
-
Loads better! She was a bad cook. Her "best" meal was a weird kind of "rice soup". She'd boil the rice, then add warm milk and sugar.
-
thank god no...my mom was fablous.raised 6 kids.all professionals...but lord her cooking was awful..if I cooked as good as my mom..my kids would be living with their dad..i would wake up one morning and their would be a note taped to the fridge...gone west to find provisions...
-
I can cook anything better than my mom, my dad was the better cook and i learned from him.
-
....
-
I cook as well as she did 30 years ago.
-
way better
-
Not even close :)
-
My mother was a magnificent baker of bread, angel food cake, pies, all kinds of cookies, Norwegian sweets and doughnuts. I am helpless in that section of the kitchen. Other than that, her food was pretty much meat and potatoes. Good meat and potatoes, but basic. I think I have been more adventurous in that section of the kitchen. My mother died in 1991, and I would give alot to be in the kitchen just once more with her.
-
Yes, she could not cook either my dad did all the cooking.
-
I wish! Everything my mum creates delicious. Now that I'm off to college, I realize if it doesn't involve a microwave or boiling water, I'm clueless :[
-
Yes, I do , but I use more spices and experiment more . Mom is the best at the pies. I give her credit for spending so much time on the crusts.
-
not even half as well if im lucky ;)
-
not even if i try.. :)
-
What she made was good. but I get in the gourmet stuff.
-
No way..I think I'm a good cook...my mom was a great cook and my grandmother (her mom) was a superb cook. It's way too late in the game for me to be either great or superb. Fortunately, Jim is O.K. with "good"! :) ((hugs))
-
No. My mother is a good cook. I'm limited to the very basics... french toast and hotdogs. Hehehe.
-
Yes.I cook a variety of dishes whereas she used to do only traditional. Now I cook for her and my entire family.
-
I was taught by my mother who was taught by her mother...I am a very good cook, but to say as good...well.....I think so..but would never claim that in front of my mother.
-
Yes...I believe better.
-
Never, cause she can cook way better than me, sure i can cook eggs, but when she does it eems to have that surtain taste that only comes when she makes it.:)
-
I dont think so My mother is Aunt Jemima. lol
-
My mom definitely is a much better cook than me. All I can really make are omlets, scrambled eggs, and possibly sunny side up eggs. And those still taste better when my mom makes them. Mom's are born cooks :)
-
Hey Listen!!! Nobody can cook like MY Mum Ha!
-
No I doubt it!!!!
-
Way better. My mom can't make fried chicken without the outside being burnt and the inside being raw. I don't cook every night, but when I do, it's always really good. Allrecipes.com for the win.
-
No, and I doubt I ever will. She taught me virtually everything I know about cooking, but she also has a 30-year head start on me.
-
I guess my mom knows only a few recipes and so do I but different ones. I can make eggs (don't know if that includes in cooking)and french fries... a few other.
-
I've been cooking better than my mom since around 14.
-
my mom was a terrible cook. she only made a few really stellar dishes. she raised me on some seriously terrible tasting food. its a miracle i survived. i believe i am not a product of my parents in regards to cooking ~ i am a total reaction to them. i consider myself to be an excellent cook. i lived with a chef for several years ~ so i learned alot of tricks of the trade. i really have no idea where i inherited my cooking gene from??? beats me.
-
Better! My mother has aged and so has her cooking skills.
-
Much better. Mom didn't cook, she opened cans.
-
No way!!
-
gadz, i don't even cook as good as my wife's mom.
-
My mother is an excellent cook when she wants to be. Sometimes she's very busy. I have lots of time to cook and I am a better cook than her because it is a real passion with me.
-
I'd like to think I cook just as good as she does. She and my grandmother are the ones who taught me to cook. Some things she always cooks better than I do, and I have my specialties!
-
i cook as good as i can ^_^
-
HECK NO...Mom was an excellant cook and granny was even better!
-
No way, I don't think anyone cooks as good as my mom!
-
My mom couldn't cook her way out of a hostage crisis. I, however, am such an awesome cook, that you would hold a kid ransom for a taste of my lasagne!
-
NO for sure !! but I'm tryin to learn, and yeah I'm quite successful in some foods!
-
I was lucky enough to have my mom be my first "instructor." She was always very proud of my talent. She never worked in a restaurant but was well known in our neighborhood as an awesome cook. In other words, she was never turned down when she extended a meal invitation. I guess the answer to this question is - I hope to be a fitting legacy to the primary source of my passion for cooking - my mom.
-
Why yes i do.
-
better! She cooks fine, but i cook better for sure.
-
in my eyes i bake as good as her
-
No not in this universe. My mom was the best cook ever. She taught me the ropes though and my kids love it. my moms chicken and dressing was faught over everytime she made it because it was that good.
-
We both are good cooks.
-
nobody coooks as good as your mom! :)
-
NO
-
Infinitely better. She overcooked EVERYTHING!
-
Try to follow recipe but mom doesn't need them
-
Yeah.
-
I'd better, she could burn fire-proof water. but my dad on the other hand, he's like the real iron chef, no way I could out cook him
-
NO
-
I could only wish i cooked as good as her. but i must say in the last 6 months of being on my own i have come a very long way. i can cook a meal each night that is eatable
-
I am better for a few reasons - I am not feeding 8 kids and trying to stretch a buck. Plus, we have way more food choices today and awareness of ethnic cooking that her generation never heard off. She was a good cook but very predictable Sunday - roast Beef Monday - Left over roast beef Tuesday - alternated chicken breats always cooked the same way with baked stuffed pork chops the next week. Wednesday - spaghetti and meatballs alternated with beef stew the following week. Thursday - Meatloaf Friday - some kind of fish - usually tuna casserole, or those famous fishsticks, though occasionally she would cook swordfish. Saturday - hamburgers The thing I really do better than her is sides. The only way we had potatoes was mashed or baked and the only vegetables we ate were corn, peas, green beans and carrots- usually canned - gross.
-
My mom is a terrible cook also lol,, but my dad is a very great one...i love love to cook and i try to improve on it all the time! i am pretty good with deserts and vegetables,, and meat sometimes lol
