I set my alarm and then wake up before it goes off so I won't have to hear it. Once i wake up, I sometimes lay in bed listening to the news on NPR for a while before getting out of bed.

I keep a bottle of water by my bed. I drink it if I'm having trouble awaking and it gets my system flowing. Then, I turn on the news. My remote is not working so it forces me to get out of the bed. Then, I make it up so I won't be tempted to go back to bed. Then, I wash my face to completely wake me up. Then, on to the shower.
-
i put my alarm clock on the other side of my room and i put it on snooze one time and before i get back into bed to rest for ten mins. i do some quick stretches for no more than 2 min. at the most. i stretch my quads, back, core, and my hamstrings. it sounds like a lot but its really not if you figure out how to stretch out more than one muscle at a time. i quickly stretch to get my blood flowing and its a refreshing wake up to stretch and have an extra ten minutes. after you hit the first snooze button once, after that you have to get out of bed.

Well, I have my radio alarm set for the time where they take a break in their talk show and play a song or two. If I like it I'll jump out of bed and forget what I was going to do. If I don't, I'll sit there. Looking at the clock fifteen minutes later usually does the trick. (Fifteen minutes later means I'm late XD)

Set my alarm clock on the other side of the room (so when I get up I've already gotten up and shedded some sleep). Make sure its as loud as it possibly can be. Set a time 10 mins afterwards, in case I dont wake up. My alarming usually sounds an hour or so before I start getting ready, so I walk around or sit otside and listen to music and then start my day.
