My phones last years, without problems (My Alcatel OT735 is now 4 years with me). But sometimes, when my phone doesn't do what I expect it to do, then I'll get really really mad and throw it against the wall... Just recently I killed my Nokia 6600, cause it was unbalanced and too buggy. Currently Samsung is next in my "need to be destroyed" list, all Samsung SGH series mobilephones suck...

There are collection boxes and charities that take old cell phones and use them (unregistered) for emergency calls for people in shelters, after disasters and so forth. Might be more satisfactory than a single smash against the wall.
