  • You can use the traditional method of extracting essential oils -- distillation. You might need some equipment for this. An alembic or a scientific distillaition column and apparatus would be easiest. After being extracted, the oils separate easily from the water.
  • Put a bunch of peelings in a container and cover them with water. Let them sit for a couple of days, then strain off the liquid. You can extract more oil by simmering the peelings. Note that this will NOT get you the concentration of a commercial distillery. You will have to experiment a little to figure out how strong an oil you're really getting. If you'd like I'm putting a picture on here of the scientific method of steam distilling. Personally, I'd just simmer some peels.
